It was the end of the World. Everything would change. On May 2nd 2012, Governments across the globe made the announcements that hurtling towards Earth was a large object. It would be highly likely that it would collide with our planet, and we could do nothing to stop it. Initially there was shock and denial, then fear and panic and societies started to break down as people tried to comprehend and accept what was happening. Some people prayed, others hoarded supplied and looked to hide. For all our technical marvels and deluded self importance, there was little chance of survival. We were told how the planet would be devistated for years, that the sun would be blotted out and plant life, then animal life would end. There was no hope... Then, 'They' came. Our saviours or our doom. We had no choice but to pray for the former.. |
