§1 All terms of use, concerning your use of the website www.you2book.co.uk or www.you2book.com (”Y2B”), whether you are a registered member (”User”) or a temporary Visitor, you must adhere to. By using Y2B you agree to accept these terms of use for the most up to date valid version, along with all other rules that can be read on this website. If you cannot accept and agree to these terms of use, you will not have the permission to use our services and you will be restricted from Y2B.
§2 All material on Y2B is protected by copyright law (1960:729) regarding the copyright to artistic and written works. Other use of the material not approved by Y2B, is prohibited without written permission from Y2B. Exceptions from this copyright can be read at paragraph 3.
§3 Uploaded book chapters can be downloaded by another User or Visitor, without permission by the owner of the rights to the chapter/chapters of the book, and are then regarded as public material, under the following conditions:
- A) The User shall use the material for the work of the following book chapter.
- B) The User shall edit, collate or use the material in a manner that adheres to the agreement with Y2B. This must be approved and verified by Y2B.
- C) The User or Visitor will read the uploaded book material to comment on it or to get acquainted with the published material.
The User or Visitor is not allowed to download material (book chapters or other) for any commercial purposes what so ever or make the material available outside of the site without the written consent from Y2B.
§4 The User accepts that Y2B is given the full rights to publish the uploaded material, and that the material is either:
- A) public material, or
- B) material that the User has copyright or publishing rights to.
The User still owns the right (copyright) to the uploaded material.
§5 Y2B has the right to immediately and without notice close your account if you:
- A) make downloaded contents fully or partially available for another person or if you make illegal copies of such content
- B) promote, allow, simplify or take part in any form of illegal spreading or copying of downloaded content
- C) in any other way severely neglect the contents of these use of terms
- D) make advertisements on this website for products of third party or in any other way use Y2B for commercial purposes
§6 As a User you agree not to upload material that violates another party’s copyright, contains nudity or sexually offensive content that encourages criminal activity such as agitation against an ethnic group or can raise public offence in other aspects.
§7 Y2B can according to the law (1998:112) of electronic notice boards be obliged to remove material that is in conflict with paragraph 5 in this law. Y2B claim the right to, at any given time, make decisions about whether material should be allowed to be published on the website or not. Y2B also owns the right to stop ongoing uploading of material.
§8 Y2B is not obliged to compensate for any form of damage or loss that may be caused from uploaded or downloaded book chapters or from unauthorized use of Y2B.
§9 The user-id and the password you are given for your user account upon registration (“User”) are personal. Both are necessary when logging on your user account. You are responsible for keeping your password secret. Do not reveal any information about your password to any other person.
§10 All Users guarantee that the personal data given when uploading a chapter to Y2B is correct.
§11 All Users agree not to commit unauthorized trespassing to Y2B or to another person’s equipment connected to the website, or transmit viruses or anything else that may cause Y2B any kind of damage.
§12 All Users guarantee that all material that you upload on Y2B from your user account is your own, and is not protected by copyright law and that you own the right to upload the material on Y2B and make it available for other Visitors or Users.
§13 Y2B commit themselves to, as long as the material is available on Y2B, supply information about the originator etc that the User has given when uploading material, according to copyright law.
§14 All Users are responsible for the damage that they may have caused Y2B by violating these terms of use, or if Y2B are being held responsible from a third party, due to the User’s utilization of Y2B and its contents. All Users agree not to harm Y2B by making demands against Y2B because of the User’s breach of this agreement.
§15 All content on Y2B such as pictures, texts, videos and music and related musical compositions, as well as editorial material (“Content”) is protected by Swedish and International copyright law and other regulations of immaterial rights.
§16 All use of the Content apart from what is described in these terms of use, are considered as violations of the Content’s copyright and is prohibited according to Swedish or foreign copyright laws. |
